It is an honour and a privilege for me to address you today at the opening of the 36th Pacific Islands Forum. May I first of all, on behalf of the visiting leaders and delegations thank the Government and the people of Papua New Guinea for the very warm welcome they have extended to us all and for the excellent arrangements for our meetings this week.
